Meet Our Staff

The staff at our Allen Automatic Transmission service and repair center are all highly trained and certified technicians with one common goal in mind - quality service at honest prices. Our transmission center is diligent in applying the ATRA Member Code of Ethics to all of our transmission repair and diagnostic services for the purpose of better assisting our customers with their repair needs and concerns. Adherence to the ATRA Code of Ethics also helps ensure that when you bring in your vehicle for transmission service or repair you know that you are receiving honest and professional service from our technical staff. Our transmission technicians are always polite and courteous in their effort to provide you with the quality of service you want and deserve.

Brad Benrud

Transmission Rebuilder/Owner

Brad has been involved in the transmission business for the last 33 years. After receiving an associate degree in Automotive Technology, Brad gained valuable experience working for a major Transmission repair center in Alaska. Brad founded Allen Automatic Transmission, La Crosse, WI. In 1980 as owner/Rebuilder. Became an ATRA Rebuilder Member in 1981. In 1989 he was elected to the Midwest chapter Board. In 1992 was elected to the position of Secretary and served in that position until 2002 when Brad was elected President of the Midwest Chapter Board. Brad is currently serving as District #6 Director on the ATRA International board.

Jason Benrud

Manager

Jason Benrud has 15 years experience working in the Family Business. He is ATRA certified as a transmission installer, service writer, and rebuilder. He has attended many ATRA Technical Seminars and national EXPO's to keep abreast with the latest technology. He currently is a master rebuilder in Chrysler transmissions. In September 2007, the family business expanded to a new retail location and Jason became the Manager.

Master Technician

Joe Banasik is a certified Master Technician with over 12 years experience. He currently rebuilds differentials, manual transmissions, clutch replacements, as well as engine repairs. A Master Technician is qualified to diagnose and repair all automotive problems. We are proud to have Joe on our staff.
